The UGA Department of Dance and Young Choreographers Series is proud to present Endure, a Senior Exit and Emerging Choreographers Showcase featuring final works by senior dance majors and additional works choreographed by second- and third-year dance majors. As part of the 2022 Spotlight on the Arts Festival, the performance will be held in the New Dance Theatre November 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Encompassing various music genres and styles of dance, the show will have a vast spectrum of creativity and something for every audience member to enjoy!

Athens, GA -- The University of Georgia Department of Dance presents MERGENCE, the 2022 UGA Dance Company Faculty and Guest Artist Concert, on April 7-9 at 8 p.m. and April 10 at 2:30 p.m. in the New Dance Theatre, located in the Dance Building, which is nestled between Soule and Green Streets (off Sanford Drive) on UGA’s south campus in Athens.

The Department of Philosophy and the Department of Dance co-sponsor a talk by Christian Kronsted of the University of Memphis on Wednesday, February 16 at 2pm in the New Dance Theatre.  See more....

UGA dance students will perform a short presentation of faculty choreographed works in progress. This will showcase Dance Department students in short excerpts that are currently being created or have already been performed for the UGA Dance Company’s Spring Concert production. Part of the Spotlight on the Arts 2021 Festival, free admission.
