Thursday, November 11, 2021 - 8:00pm Friday, November 12, 2021 - 8:00pm Saturday, November 13, 2021 - 8:00pm Sunday, November 14, 2021 - 2:30pm New Dance Theatre, Dance Building UGA Dance Senior Exit and Emerging Choreographers Showcase The UGA Department of Dance and Young Choreographers Series is proud to present, “Untethered”, a Senior Exit and Emerging Choreographers Showcase including senior, junior, sophomore, and freshmen dance majors. As part of the 2021 Spotlight on the Arts Festival, these performances will be held in the New Dance Theatre from November 11th through 14th. Each day will alternate between a program A or program B show. Program A will perform on November 11th and 13th and will both begin at 8:00 p.m. Program B will perform on November 12th and 14th. The showcase on November 12th will begin at 8:00 p.m., and the showcase on November 14th will begin at 2:30 p.m. A live stream of each program will also be available on Friday, November 12th for Program B and Saturday, November 13th for Program A on the UGA Dance Livestream page at showtime. After a year of no live performances within the UGA Department of Dance, dancers resurface the studio and stage for the preparation of this year's performance “Untethered.” Intending to bring back life to the stage, choreographers had the pleasure of displaying their creativity and knowledge for dance through their choreographic works.
