The UGA Department of Dance presents the UGA Dance Company Spring Concert on Thursday and Friday, April 9th and 10th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 11th at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. in the Dance Theatre at the Dance Building on South Campus. Our talented UGA Dance students will be performing choreographic works created by UGA Dance faculty and guest artists Maleek Washington and Meg Gourley.

Washington is a performer, choreographer, and teaching artist at Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, and Steps on Broadway in New York City and has collaborated with several prominent artists.  He was a recipient of the 2022 Princess Grace Award in choreography and has received several Bessie Award nominations.  Gourley is a 2017 UGA Dance graduate, professional dance artist having performed with several dance companies and was a company member with Kit Modus for seven seasons.  She is now pursuing her MFA at University Wisconsin-Milwaukee to be completed this May.

With a diverse array of dance genres including aerial, ballet, West African fusion, jazz, contemporary modern and more, this unique lineup is always an audience favorite and has something for everyone!  Tickets are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center and Tate Center box offices, by phone at 706-542-4400 and online at pac.uga.edu. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before each performance, however, advance purchase is strongly recommended. Free parking is available in lots adjacent to the UGA Department of Dance after 5:00 p.m., or at the South Campus Parking Deck next to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education for a fee. 

$8 students/seniors, $18 general admission, $10 for groups of 8+ Adults (note that there is an additional $3 convenience fee per ticket for online purchases except on group sales)
