The concert will be held on Thursday and Friday, February 20th and 21st at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 22nd at 2:30 p.m. in the New Dance Theatre at the Dance Building on Green Street off of Sanford Drive. With choreographic works that explores the African and the diaspora experience through performance, this high energy show will include performances by the UGA Dance Company students and guest performances by other universities, dance studios, dance groups and live professional African drum musicians. Also included is a special guest performance by Threads Dance Project on the Saturday matinee. Tickets are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center and Tate Center box offices, by phone at 706-542-4400 and online at pac.uga.edu. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before each performance, however, advance purchase is strongly recommended.
