GRACE The UGA Department of Dance presents GRACE, celebrating Black History through Performance. The concert will be held on Thursday and Friday, February 20th and 21st at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 22nd at 2:30 p.m. in the New Dance Theatre at the Dance Building on Green Street off of Sanford Drive. Yeli Ensemble Dance Artist Residency inspired UGA students Ibrahim (Ibro) Conte, and Sekouna Dioubate as the Yeli Ensemble, along with manager and dancer/musician Windship Boyd demonstrated virtuosity as musicians and dancers in their visit to UGA The lecture demonstration provided insights into the instruments: including the kora, an instrument resembling a harp, that Sekou made himself, and just finished a day before arriving.
