Spotlight on the Arts 2023

The 2023 UGA Dance Company Spring Faculty and Guest Artist Concert will be presented by the University of Georgia Department of Dance on April 20-21 at 8 p.m. and April 22 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. The concert will be held in the New Dance Theatre, located in the Dance Building between Soule and Green Streets (off Sanford Drive) on UGA's south campus.

The UGA Department of Dance presents Amistad We Stand celebrating Black History through Performance. The concert will be held on Friday, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the New Dance Theatre at the Dance Building, off Sanford Drive between Green and Soule streets. Admission is $5 for all and seating is general admission.

The UGA Ballroom Performance Group presents their annual Ballroom Magic showcase. With numerous performances split between two acts, they'll be bringing the Magic. Get ready for sequins, disco lights, and crowd favorites from their repertoire! Tickets are on sale the Tate Student Center and Performing Arts Center box offices, by phone at 706-542-4400 and online below.   More information coming soon.

The UGA Department of Dance and Young Choreographers Series is proud to present Endure, a Senior Exit and Emerging Choreographers Showcase featuring final works by senior dance majors and additional works choreographed by second- and third-year dance majors. As part of the 2022 Spotlight on the Arts Festival, the performance will be held in the New Dance Theatre November 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Encompassing various music genres and styles of dance, the show will have a vast spectrum of creativity and something for every audience member to enjoy!
